Power Objects: Company Culture Videos Resonates with Software Prospects

Dean Jones and Jim Sheehan have created a special company in the North Loop of Minneapolis. Power Objects is a Microsoft Dynamics CRM Partner that has experienced tremendous growth over the past five years. Jeff Wedren, Director of Marketing at Power Objects, felt the company and its story needed to be shared in the form of a testimonial video.

Conceptualizing the Video

Power Objects turned to StoryTeller to help communicate what Jeff described as a “Bay Area tech start-up feel” to prospective customers and employees. The mixed audience presented some challenges, however through collaboration and communication Power Objects and StoryTeller created a powerful tool for both marketing and human resources. Wedren says the video has brought a concise visual element that helps define who they are and what they are about.

The Power Objects testimonial video is the cornerstone piece of a 12-month, 6-video agreement in which StoryTeller produced customer testimonial videos for use by the sales team. Each video offers a glimpse of Power Objects’ impact on their customer’s business. Produced in a simple, straightforward manner, the videos are used as a business development tool and another proof positive example of Power Objects' work supporting its significant growth.
